When you were in high school, what did you want to do for a living?
I wanted to be a doctor.
What lead you to working in education? As an undergraduate, I found myself connected with Psychology courses I was taking. I shifted to a Liberal Arts track and later found that my concentration in Psychology opened new doors. The counseling program at Manhattan College eventually became home and I never looked back!
What is your favorite food? Ask anyone, it's fried cheese with mangu a typical dish form Dominican Republic:)
What is your favorite color? Black
What is your favorite thing to do outside of school? Spend time with my family.
What is your favorite song? It depends on the day but often it is something like "Vale La Pena" by Juan Luis Guerra
What is your favorite movie? So many! but today I will say "Avatar"
What is something that always makes you smile? My children.
Who is your hero? Why? My mom because she is the strongest person I know and I admire her courage.
What is the best piece of advice you've ever received? Live in the present.
What are you passionate about? Being kind.
Anything fun you'd like to share? I love to sing and write poetry.
